I am a professor of Economics at the Faculty of Business and Economics of University of Lausanne. I work on questions related to labor market policy, family policy, and social economics and teach empirical methods for economics and management.
I am also presiding a Scientific Committee that assesses the changes to unemployment insurance in France, and (soon leaving) co-editor of the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics (Check its impact).
David Card, Fabrizio Colella and I just learned that our paper Gender Preferences in Job Vacancies and Workplace Gender Diversit has been accepted at the Review of Economic Studies. One of its key graphs (below) suggests gender preference statements in job ads matter, even though one might think they don't.
