Hello, everyone My name is Rafael. I graduated from Wenzao with a major in Foreign Language Teaching and four years of teaching English. I am a good English teacher for three reasons, called PPI in short.
P stands for Professional. I can modify my teaching quickly in order to meet students' needs. I also participate in English workshops regularly as part of my continuing education. I have attended basic training for Teacher Evaluation for Professional Development.
P stands for Passionate. I motivate students through designing board games. For example, I designed a game called “”Race to Top””. Students learn how to cooperate with each other. My experience with remedial teaching classes makes me appreciate the important role motivation can play in students' learning.
I stands for International. I incorporate various cultures in my teaching so that students learn more about the world and develop an international perspective. For example, When we discuss customs, we learn that in India, it is a custom not to use your left hand to touch your food.
To conclude, upholding my vision, I make more preparations before class, make more observations in class, and reflect more after class. I’m a teacher. It’s who I am. It’s my passion, calling and my world. Thank you.
I try what I want to do. And I try everything what my kids need to learn in the school life.
