Veriphy/Critical Results
When a red alert critical finding is found, document the time it was identified by dictating the phrase "MACRO CRITICAL" .
iCare reports are generated against the radiologist/resident when this is not done correctly.
1. Provider should complete this form: https://is.gd/VeriphyProfileForm
2. Once added to the Veriphy database (may take ~1 week), they will receive an email from ‘UMMC Radiology’ with a link to set up their account (link is good for only 72 hours)
3. If they already receive alerts, have previously completed form, or the link expired, direct them to email the Veriphy nurses, Wendy Howell (Wchowell@umc.edu) or Karri McAlpin (Kmcalpin@umc.edu) so we can guide from there.
VERIPHY DOWNTIME INSTRUCTIONS:
In the event of a downtime for the Veriphy system, please follow these instructions:
Communicate verbally all the Critical Findings (Red/Orange/Yellow/Pulmonary Nodules/ED Discrepancy) to the ordering provider AND
Document that communication in the report by speaking "MACRO VERIPHY" into the end of the report, following the impression.
