Medicare and Small Group Specialist

Small Group Plans
I will help you navigate through the laws that apply to providing healthcare for your employees.  I will compare multiple health plan benefits and premiums side by side, help you choose your level of contribution, and help your employees choose their coverage. You can begin coverage any time, you’re not required to wait for an open enrollment period.

Medicare Enrollment
If you're 65 or older, you are eligible for Medicare.  You can begin the initial enrollment process 3 months prior to your 65th birthday.  You have until 3 months after your 65th birthday to complete the initial enrollment.  I will help you navigate through all the options (Medicare Part A, B or C) and figure out which options fit your budget and lifestyle.

Long Term Care Insurance
Long Term Care coverage helps provide for the cost of long-term care beyond a predetermined period.  Long term care insurance covers care generally not covered by health insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid.

Life Insurance Policies
Racey Insurance Agency is licensed to sell fixed annuity life insurance policies.  We will help you determine how much insurance you need and discuss the costs of these policies.

Individual or Family Plans
I will take you through the Connect for Health Colorado enrollment process, determine your eligibility for an Advanced Premium Tax Credit (APTC) and help figure out which Insurance Carriers meet your individual/family needs.  Enrollment for coverage begins on November 1st of each year and ends on January 31st.  This is the only time you are able to enroll or change your health insurance provider for the upcoming year.  Throughout the year, certain circumstances such as getting married, having a baby or changing jobs make you eligible to enroll or change your coverage.

Dental and Vision Plans
Dental and Vision plans are separate from your individual healthcare.  There are several companies that provide these plans.  We can find you a plan that fits your needs and your income.

Medicaid in Colorado is handled through the PEAK (Program Eligibility and Application Kit) application process.  We can help guide you through this process.

Short-Term Insurance
Short-term policies are designed to be temporary insurance to help you through times when you have a lapse in coverage. Temporary health insurance plans can be a quick and affordable option if you can’t get other coverage or have a short period to bridge coverage between an old and new plan.
