The following is a list of current extracurricular opportunities within the Math Department. Please contact the Grad Reps at mathgradreps@purdue.edu if you are interested in participating in one of these activities, or organizing one.

Yarn Arts Hour

• Organizer: Geoffrey Baring

• When/Where: Once or twice a week, Math Common Room (MATH 304)

• Meeting in the lounge to work on yarn arts/crafts projects. Members have knit, crocheted, cross stitched, etc.

Purdue Cycling Club

• Contact: Geoffrey on Discord

• When/Where: A 2–3 hr ride every year before the fall picnic; other rides not listed. Out into the countryside.

• Rides out into the countryside to enjoy some scenery, maybe some wind turbines. DM on Discord if you're interested in joining.

Badminton

• When: Mornings on 1–2 weekdays, as well as Saturday

Bowling

• Organizer: Ashton Keith

• When/Where: Every other Saturday around 6, at Marketsquare Lanes

• Usually chill with good music playing. Message the organizer on Discord to join.
