Executive Board | Welcome to the FY2020 Executive Board!
My name is Kimberly (Parker) Schlauch and I graduated in 2003 with a B.S. in ChE. I currently live in the Wexford area (north of Pgh) with my husband and two daughters (ages 3 & 7). I also work in Wexford for Arvos Schmidtsche Schack in a multitude of roles but mainly as Product and Sales Manager for the sludge market. I am in the red family and look forward to seeing it resurrected and growing! I enjoy helping out my fellow sisters and giving back to the Sorority. My goal for this year is to improve our relationship with the active chapter. If anyone has any suggestions on what they would like to see from our alumnae association, please don’t hesitate to contact me! PRL, Kim
I was in the Delta class and Charcoal Grey family. I graduated in 2004 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I have been working as an Inside Sales Engineer with ECI in Monessen, PA for the last 8 years while living in North Huntingdon, PA with my husband and our two boys. Life has been pretty busy with kids activities and a full time job. It has been a few years since I have been on the exec board, and I am happy to be involved again as VP of Communications.
I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I currently live in Squirrel Hill and work for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as a resident inspector at Beaver Valley Power Station, a nuclear power plant in Shippingport, PA. I have been a member of the Zeta Chapter Alumnae Association executive board since 2013. I serve as the VP of Finance where I manage the annual budget, collect dues, and issue reimbursements. Please let me know if you have any questions about our Alumnae Association’s voluntary dues described below!
Hi! My name is Courtney Waters and I graduated in 2013 with a degree in Industrial Engineering. I am a member of the Sigma class and am in the Yellow Family. I work for MSA Safety in Cranberry Township as a project manager and am in the process of completing my MBA/MS in Industrial Engineering at Pitt. I should finish up next July and am really looking forward to this last stretch! I live in Plum with my boyfriend Jason, and our dog Oliver. I enjoy taking Oliver for walks, running, and playing softball.
Charlene (Brashear) Peacock was the President of the Alpha Class and graduated from Pitt in 2000 with a BS degree in Mechanical Engineering. She returned to Pitt where she completed her MBA in 2015. Charlene is the founding member of the Midnight Blue family which has recently been revived by the Active Chapter. Charlene spent the first 16 years of her career with Bechtel Plane Machinery, Inc. and has been a Consultant with Brashear Construction Consulting since 2016. She is married to Joe and has three daughters, Kaylie (16), Emily (14), and Chelsea (11).
Hi! I’m Emily Lain and I graduated from Pitt in the fall of 2017. I was an IE undergrad and now work as a Quality Engineer at Bayer Healthcare here in Pittsburgh. While an active sister I served as president during the 2016-2017 school year, as well as a handful of other positions throughout my time at Pitt.
Howdy from Houston! I am a 2003 ChE grad and was the Alpha class founder of the charcoal grey family. Easiest color to wear! Plus, I had a pair of hot grey pants I loved to wear. I met my non-engineer husband Marco at Pitt and we have two rambunctious children, Carter (7) and Matthew (5). As children of two math people, surprisingly they actually both love math. I work for Univar Solutions as a finance project manager on a merger and I have done many more, and less, technical roles over time. I’m looking forward to coming to the Burgh for the 20th anniversary celebration next spring! You should come too!
I am a 2003 Chem E graduate from the delta class. I have previously served on the Alumnae exec board and am really excited to be back to help this year. I live in Scott Township (near Bridgeville) with my husband Adam, my son Caleb, our dog Luna, a bearded dragon named Rocky and an assortment of fish. Caleb is an active boy scout, and I have been involved with scouts as an adult leader since he started as a tiger cub 6 years ago. I also recently submitted my paperwork to be accepted as a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, thanks to my aunt finishing a huge research project to get our family approved. Outside of work and family, I have been keeping myself active with Tang Soo Do, a Korean martial art, and running.
My name is Christina O'Donnell and I am a member of the Chi Class. I graduated from Pitt in 2014 with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering. This is my second year serving as the Webmaster for our Alumnae Chapter! I live in Harrisburg, PA, with my dog Eleanor. Currently, I work for HydroWorx (an underwater treadmill company) as a Project Manager. Outside of work, I am finishing up my Masters in Project Management from Drexel University!
My name is Kaitlyn (Koller) Musser, and I’m excited to be supporting the Zeta Alumnae Association this year. I’m a 2008 ChemE grad and a member of the Iota class and Sky Blue family. I’m currently a Principal Engineer at Westinghouse Electric Company working in the safety analysis area. I live in Mt. Lebanon with my husband and 1-year-old daughter Cecilia. I’m looking forward to a busy year of Phi Rho activities and hope to see you all at an upcoming event!
My name is Stephanie Folkmire and I am the president of the Zeta chapter for the 2019-2020 school year! I was a Spring 2017 initiate and was formerly the VP of Finance last year. I am also the vice president of Order of Omega, a Greek honor society, and am passionate mental health awareness & helping others. My goals this year are to strengthen our sisterhood, develop mental health resources and opportunities for our sisters, and make sure I am encouraging all of our members throughout the year.
My name is Navdeep Handa and I am the Alumni/Parent/Co-Op Chair of the Zeta chapter for the 2019-2020 school year! I am a senior at Pitt studying Computer Engineering. I have co-oped at Rockwell Automation as an Embedded Software Engineer and interned at Deloitte Consulting as a Business Technology Analyst. Outside of Phi Rho, I am leading a project team for Design Hub, the Transportation Coordinator for Food Recovery Heroes, a member of Incline Consulting, and a member of Pitt Progressives. This year, my goals are to promote more frequent and useful communication between alumni and current active members of Phi Rho, and to plan events that people are excited by and find engaging!
