Weekly Professional Development

The certified staff at Kimberly Elementary School participates in Professional Development the 1st Tuesday of each month. The artifacts from these PL sessions will be housed here for future use by staff.

The goals/objectives of this years PL Sessions are as follows:

• Teachers will successfully implement the Common Core State Standards through Standards Based Instructional Strategies.

• Teachers will successfully implement the Common Core State Standards through effective implementation of Research Based Instructional Strategies.

• Teachers will fully implement Positive Behavior Intervention Supports (PBIS) strategies as a means to lower incidences of classroom and school disruptions.

• Teachers will engage students in research based reading and math strategies (Balanced Math & Balanced Literacy).
