Club Events

During the year the club holds various events such as BBQ's, Dinners, Car Treasure Hunts, Trips involving train or bus travel, Morning Teas etc etc. These are all advertised in the clubs monthly newsletter. This page has general details about some of the events, whats supplied, what to bring etc.

Just make sure to consult the newsletter for the latest info about the event, cost, contact etc.

Things happen. If you cannot make an outing you are down to attend then its vital to let the organiser know.

Barbecues:

AT THE BBQ, we will supply sausages, mince patties, onion, bacon, eggs, bread and margarine, salt and pepper, tomato sauce and BBQ sauce, orange juice, salad consisting of lettuce, cucumber, tomatoes and purple onion.

You should bring with you any of the following that you might want:

BYO: table and chairs (depending on where we go), plates, cutlery, hot water, tea, coffee, milk, mugs, beer, wine, salad dressing (if you want it) and an umbrella to keep the rain away!!!

Remember our slogan, “Friends, Fellowship and Fun”, but most of all, bring your good humour.

Train Travel

Most members catch the train at either Morisset or Fassifern stations. Train times are usually made known to members by the organiser of that trip. Do make every effort to catch the appointed train, or let the organiser know if you have alternative transport, or a different train. The organiser has to account for everyone on whatever the outing is.
