Course Overview
Course Overview
This class is for students who have taken through Algebra 2 and are heading into PreCalculus or Analysis and Trig and want to strengthen their prerequisite concepts learned in Algebra 2 and/or get ahead for PreCalculus. Students will review polynomial operations, solving Algebra 2 & PreCalc-level equations, exponential and logarithmic functions, rational and radical functions, and other topics needed for success next school year. We will spend time fortifying conceptual understanding in the above topics and provide students with the ability to jump right into PreCalculus/Analysis and Trig next school year free of “summer rust” with a massive head start in their curriculum. Daily short math workouts are provided so students practice their skills throughout the summer without feeling like they spent their entire summer on math.

The virtual classroom contains an amazing suite of technology that allows students to see and hear me teach live from the comfort and convenience of home. Because of this technology, my classes are taught with the same high quality as in person. Given all this technology allows us to do, it is enhancing how my students learn and how I am delivering instruction like never before. I will switch to this model in the future for all classes. Out of necessity came an incredible invention!
