Course Overview
This course is for students who have taken through Pre-Algebra who wish to get a head start on the concepts that will be taught in Algebra 1 or Algebra 1A. The course is also terrific for students who have taken Algebra 1A who would like to stay fresh on the concepts they have learned during the school year so they have no summer math skill lost and hit the ground running in Algebra 1B next school year.
Each class is a specially designed lesson that will lead your student to engage in the exploration and practice of topics such as solving linear equations, linear inequalities, investigating slope, graphing linear equations, and more. Students will get an in-depth glimpse into the wide world of Algebra 1 and will be challenged to further their skills in a fun and motivating environment. Daily short math workouts are provided so students practice their skills throughout the summer ensuring they return to school in the fall ahead of the game without feeling like they spent their entire summer on math.
About my Amazing Live Virtual Classroom
The virtual classroom contains an amazing suite of technology that allows students to see and hear me teach live from the comfort and convenience of home. Because of this technology, my classes are taught with the same high quality as in person. Given all this technology allows us to do, it is enhancing how my students learn and how I am delivering instruction like never before. I will switch to this model in the future for all classes. Out of necessity came an incredible invention!
