Course Overview
This course is for students who will be taking AP Calculus AB, AP Calculus BC, or Honors Calculus next school year. The AP and Honors curricula demand students use their Algebraic, Geometric and Trigonometric skills differently than they have in their past courses of study. This course teaches students how to think graphically, numerically, verbally, and analytically about the prerequisites they will need to be successful in AP or Honors Calculus. I designed the course to address all of the weaknesses I have seen in my many years of successfully teaching AP Calculus. An original problem set specially designed to mirror the AP Calculus curriculum will be provided to students and guide our exploration into the many prerequisite skills needed for success in AP or Honors Calculus. This course is a must-take for those journeying through AP or Honors Calculus.

The virtual classroom contains an amazing suite of technology that allows students to see and hear me teach live from the comfort and convenience of home. Because of this technology, my classes are taught with the same high quality as in person. Given all this technology allows us to do, it is enhancing how my students learn and how I am delivering instruction like never before. I will switch to this model in the future for all classes. Out of necessity came an incredible invention!
