Course Overview
Course Overview
This class is for students who have taken Algebra 1 and are heading into either Geometry or Algebra 2 and want to remain and/or strengthen their prerequisite concepts learned in Algebra 1. Students will review linear equations, systems of linear equations and inequalities, exponents, quadratic expressions and equations. We will spend time fortifying conceptual understanding in the above topics and provide students with the ability to jump right into Geometry or Algebra 2 next school year free of “summer rust” and ready to excel. Daily short math workouts are provided so students practice their skills throughout the summer ensuring they return to school in the fall ahead of the game without feeling like they spent their entire summer on math.

The virtual classroom contains an amazing suite of technology that allows students to see and hear me teach live from the comfort and convenience of home. This format works wonders with my weekly 1-hour classes (not so much with a . Because of this technology, my classes are taught with the same high quality as in person. Given all this technology allows us to do, it is enhancing how my students learn and how I am delivering instruction like never before. I will switch to this model in the future for all classes. Out of necessity came an incredible invention!
