Friends

Our meetings are held the first Thursday of every month at 1:00pm and we are always looking for new members and volunteers.

Over the years the Friends of Princeton Library has been composed of a hardworking group of community volunteers who have given their time and expertise to finding ways to supplement the Library's limited budget through fundraising community activities.  Thanks to these efforts Friends provide children's programs, new materials, equipment and special cultural events.

Article II - Purpose

The purpose of the organization shall be to establish closer relations between the Princeton Public Library and the people it serves; to promote informed interest in its functions, resources, services and needs; to promote via the Library additional cultural activities beneficial to the wider community; to confer with the Board of Trustees and the Staff of the Library on matters relating to the welfare of the institution; to stimulate gifts and endowments to the Library; and to support the extension and improvement of the Library’s services and resources.

Most importantly, your membership contribution makes the biggest difference in our ability to maintain quality materials and programs for the Library.
