History

Our church history begins in the 19th century. The first Lutheran Congregation was formed in Coloma in 1881. These families, together with Pastor M Steinke, of Harrisville, thought it advisable to organize a Lutheran Church in Coloma. The young congregation secured a property and remodeled the building to make it suitable for worship. This building served them as a place of worship until 1891.

In 2025 Prince of Peace joined the Community of Saints Parishes, worshiping with St Peter's in Richford, St John's in Harrisville, and St Paul's in Crystal Lake.
