There are 3 separate Priestley websites that we use to collect, store and share our family history.
The Priestley Whanau facebook page - To access this page, you need to be whanau and request to join.
This social media webpage is where we source many of our family photos, stories and family related events. We like to keep the posts and conversations within the group informal and light-hearted to create a comfortable place for whanau to connect with the family and with each other. Whanau are encouraged to share these within the confines of this closed group. If you prefer to sit back and observe the conservation, then please do.
The Priestley Whanau whakapapa site - To access this website, you need to be whanau and register to join.
This database is where we store, edit and share the the Priestley whakapapa. Whanau can not only learn the composition of our whakapapa but also more about the individuals and families on it, and how they relate to each other. The powerful software we use on this site displays this information in a variety of pages, lists and charts. Whanau are encouraged to explore our whakapapa and to please contribute any information missing from it... people, dates, places, profile pics, family pics etc.
The Priestley Whanau history Website - This is a public site.
This dedicated website is where we proudly share our Priestley Whanau history. It provides unrestricted access to our ancient history and more recent history in an easy to navigate and read format. Here you will discover articles about our tipuna, our historic places, our historic events and more. Whanau are encouraged to contribute to our family history via our whanau facebook page or our whakapapa website.
