Pranav Jindal
Welcome to my webpage! I am an Associate Professor of Marketing at the Indian School of Business, and Research Director at the ISB Institute of Data Science (IIDS).
I do research in the field of quantitative marketing and empirical industrial organization with a focus on pricing, price negotiations, product insurance, consumer beliefs and inter-temporal preferences. I was selected as a 2024 MSI Scholar and a 2021 MSI Young Scholar by the Marketing Science Institute.
My research has been published in top marketing journals such as Marketing Science, Journal of Marketing Research, Journal of Marketing, Management Science, Quantitative Marketing and Economics and Customer Needs and Solutions. I have received research grants from the Marketing Science Institute, Institute for Study of Business Markets, Smeal College of Business at Pennsylvania State University, and UNC Kenan-Flagler. I serve on the Editorial Review Boards of Journal of Marketing Research and Marketing Science.
In my teaching, I emphasize the importance and use of quantitative and analytical tools to understand consumer behavior, and derive managerially relevant insights and practices for firms, especially in topics such as marketing research, consumer analytics and pricing strategies.
