Imitation may be the sincerest form of flattery but if you don't give credit where credit is due, then you're just stealing someone else's ideas. I am the first one at my school site to share ideas and resources with my colleagues, hoping that they will find something that will help them in the classroom. Even so, I was dismayed to find that, without permission, a former colleague had taken a complete Moodle course of mine and uploaded it into a Google site. He later thought to share the site with me and I added my own attribution note.
