Welcome to my Google Site where I present tips and references for making better presentations.

This site was created as an assignment for the course "Web 2.0 and Social Network Services" at the University of Economics (VŠE) in Prague, Czech Republic.

It was mainly inspired by the experiences I made when watching presentations in courses I attended. Since lecturers at this university seem to really enjoy seeing their students present in front of the class, these were quite a few. In nearly every of my courses everyone had to give a presentation. And most of them had some obvious mistakes... As a result, I thought that it might be helpful to create a(nother) website handling with typical mistakes and pitfalls as well as providing tips and tricks how to avoid those.

Most of the examples I used on this website are pictures of slides used in courses during my current exchange semester in Prague. As a result of the large amount of talks, I am (un)fortunately able to provide at minimum one picture for every example given in the category "pitfalls".
