The Annual Conference on Economic Growth and Development
The PPRU, together with the economics department at ISI-Delhi, hosts the annual conference on economic growth and development. This conference has been held at ISI for 11 consecutive years and is considered one of the premier development conferences in the world. In the last edition, around 140 papers were selected for presentation from around 350 submissions. This conference is usually held in the third week of December. The Delhi Macroeconomics Working Group (DMWG) is an informal network of academic macroeconomists in the National Capital Region working in macroeconomic theory and quantitative macroeconomics. A one day workshop is organized twice a year to bring researchers and invited speakers to the network. The event is sponsored by PPRU and has already been held 4 times. For more on this workshop.
