The second edition of Nonequilibrium Statistical Physics - A Modern Perspective has been published.

* I am research director of the National Research Council (CNR), at the Institute for Complex Systems (ISC), Florence, Italy. In recent years I have been the head of the Florence Unit of ISC.

* My activity covers theoretical research in statistical physics and condensed matter physics.

* I am a founding member of the Italian Society of Statistical Physics (SIFS), member of the executive board from 2019 to 2025.

* I am also the founder of the non-profit association " Caffè-Scienza ", which promotes the knowledge of science and technology by organizing informal and convivial debates in a Bar Café.
