Announcement: Regarding the HEP theory postdoc accord, the universal recommendation from the ad-hoc panel tasked by the Executive Committee of the APS (American Physical Society) was to adopt a standard deadline of January 31 of a given calendar year, with extra adjustments to account for years when January 31 coincides with a weekend or holiday.

Following the recommendations, for the 2026 cycle, this would indicate January 30, 2026 as the earliest deadline for a postdoc offer for signatories of the accord.  The accord and its signatories are found here.
