Our concealed carry courses go well beyond the average concealed carry course. MDP, llc concealed carry courses include basic handgun training and other technical and tactical mechanics providing the skills needed to defend yourself and family. Beyond the mechanics, our instructors are experts in law related to self-defense and have received certificates in general Law of Self -Defense; lawful defense against riots, arson and looting; defense of property; and specific courses on Wisconsin and Minnesota laws of self-defense (see the Law of Self-Defense Academy).
Our instructors are experts in less lethal and non-lethal self-defense tools including pepper gel, tactical pens, tactical batons, and stun guns.

Ladies and gentlemen, please don't buy a handgun before you educate yourself on handguns. In the current environment of out-of-control crime your instinct might be to 'go buy a gun.' If you do that without some training you will likely end up with a small gun that is difficult to shoot but easy to maintain. If you can't shoot effectively and accurately it is useless, and possibly dangerous, to you.
Please consider the NSSF First Shots program at the Hartford Gun Club. For $25 you will be educated on firearm safety and you will have the opportunity to shoot various types and calibers of firearms. We will schedule your lesson at a time and date convenient to you; you can have a class with a group of friends or on your own. Everything is included, including a professional instructor, gun safety documentation and training, eye protection, hearing protection, and ammunition. After completing the class you can receive a free $25 gift card so that you can practice with your new purchase at the Hartford Gun Club. If one lesson is not enough we are happy to continue your training for a reasonable hourly cost.
