Неистов и упрям,
гори, огонь, гори.
На смену декабрям
приходят январи.
Нам все дано сполна --
и горести, и смех,
одна на всех луна,
весна одна на всех.
Прожить лета б дотла,
а там пускай ведут
за все твои дела
на самый страшный суд.
Пусть оправданья нет
и даже век спустя
семь бед -- один ответ,
один ответ -- пустяк.

In wild and stubborn splendor,
burn fiercely, fire, burn.
To take place of Decembers,
comes Januaries’ turn.
We’re always given plenty –
of laughter and despair,
one moon for all ascending,
one spring for all to share.
Let life be lived to ashes,
then we will gladly trudge,
for all of our infractions,
to face the strictest judge.
Let there be no acquittal, -
we’ll pay all scores at once, -
the verdict is a tittle, -
for all the same response.
