Я ношусь во мраке, в ледяной пустыне,
Где-то месяц светит? Где-то светит солнце?
Вон вдали блеснула ясная зарница,
Вспыхнула - погасла, не видать во мраке,
Только сердце чует дальний отголосок
Грянувшего грома, лишь в глазах мелькает
Дальний свет угасший, вспыхнувший мгновенно,
Как в ночном тумане вспыхивают звезды...
И опять - во мраке, в ледяной пустыне...
Где-то светит месяц? Где-то солнце светит?
Только месяц выйдет - выйдет, не обманет.
Только солнце встанет - сердце солнце встретит.

I’m rushing in the darkness, in the glacial desert,
A moon is shining somewhere? Somewhere, there’s a sun?
Just the summer lightning flashed out in the distance,
Flashed – and quickly faded, died down in the dark,
Just the heart discerns now the faint and distant echo
Of the thunder bursting, just the eyes see flickers
Of the distant light, that flashed for just a moment,
Like the stars that flare up in the nighttime mist…
And again, - in darkness, in the glacial desert...
A moon is shining somewhere? Somewhere, there’s a sun?
But the moon will surface – it will not deceive me.
But the sun will rise soon – greeted by the heart.
