Welcome to the homepage of Paul N. Thompson, Associate Professor of Economics in the School of Public Policy at Oregon State University and an IZA Research Affiliate. I am also member of the Four-Day School Week Policy team at Oregon State University.

My research interests include public economics, economics of education, and urban economics. My research focuses on the effects of four-day school weeks, financial intervention systems, and changes in local and state funding for K-12 education.
