Agenda

At each meeting there is a presentation by a guest speaker who will share historical information about our township or a topic of historical interest.

This year, we have heard speakers: Glenn Dutterer with his collection of household and farm implements from 100 years ago, Dr. James Diamond from Delaware Valley College with his collection of animal bells from around the world, Paul Rhodes on the local Doan Gang, Kathy Auerbach about the Cabin Run, Betty Davis with then-and-now Bucks County postcards, and Idalean Hasenauer about the Lenape Indians.  We also enjoyed an in depth discussion about the unnamed cemetery in Plumstead Township that dates back to the early 1700s, and a video made by Richard Rush about Plumstead Township.

Some wonderful future topics to anticipate include the Canal and the Tohickon Creek, along with more histories of our Plumstead Township villages.
