DELIVERIES~
Deliveries should be taken for same day or next day (just type ORDAY in priority, for ex. “ORTUE”). Other Christmas deliveries should be marked "HOL" and will be delivered the week before Christmas (12/12-12/19). Tell customers that most people prefer to receive flowers and plants early so they can enjoy them through the season. Most of our Christmas arrangements will last 10-20 days or more. Centerpieces with roses and short-lived flowers (ie. tulips, gerber, lilies, etc.) should be delivered 12/21-12/23 because they do not last as long.
Sunday, Dec. 12th or Sunday Dec. 19th are the days we like to deliver most of our residential deliveries. Please recommend Sunday for residential, so our drivers are likely to deliver when they recipients are home and can avoid going to various neighbors. If you push residential deliver Sat & Sun, drivers can devote Monday through Friday to business deliveries. All business deliveries should be delivered by Tue 12/22. Many people will not work between Thu Dec 23 and Mon Jan. 3.
WIRE OUTS~
Keep all product descriptions as general as possible. PLEASE TAKE 2ND CHOICES ON ALL TELEFLORA CHRISTMAS KEEPSAKES. The minimum for a wire out order is always $35.00, even if they pick something off our website. Long stem roses should be at least 60.00. Do not take outgoing orders for medium stems. Most florists onlt carry a premium long stem rose. In the product description field of the next line, type in “SIM” and then enter to make the substitution disclaimer come up automatically. That way we can be assured that you have told the sender than subs are possible. No wire orders are guaranteed for Xmas delivery after NOON on Dec. 23rd, although there is still a good chance it will get there in time--they may be received AFTER XMAS. Many florists are closed on 12/24, 12/26 and 12/27. International orders are not guaranteed for Xmas after NOON on Dec. 19. Remember to enter “TE” in the state field so they all go to Teleflora Headquarters for international relay ($3 delivery and $13.95 relay).

Please enter (or look up) the correct promo code at the start of the F8 field. IF YOU DO NOT SEE THE PROMO CODE, PLEASE DISCOUNT THE ORDER ANYWAY AND TELL HEATHER OR KARL THAT THE CODE IS NOT IN OUR SYSTEM. Teleflora, FTD, 800-Flowers, etc will distribute many coupons. We will accept them all! Do not lose the sale because they have a competitor’s coupon. Take the order and honor the terms of the coupon, even if the promo code is not listed. Just discount the order manually and describe the coupon in the SCR pad.

FRESH WREATHS WITH A STD VELVET BOW: (DECORATIONS, EASELS & UPGRADED BOWS ADDITIONAL)
We sell Balsam and Mixed Evergreen Wreaths. These are beautiful top quality wreaths. All come with a standard velvet box at no additional charge. Bows made with more expensive ribbons are an upgrade. The Mixed wreaths have Noble Fir, Juniper, Cedar & Pine Cones. They are 10”, 14”, 16” ring size (18”, 24” & 28” outside diameter).
The Balsam are in our smallest size (8” ring /12” OD) and is perfect for suspending from ribbon on each window.
The 36’ & 48” ring size are also balsam, and have an outside diameter of 44” & 60”. We do not stock these sizes.

Plaza Flowers spends thousands in Christmas ribbon each Christmas. Be extremely careful when measuring each yard, that you are giving them exactly the correct amount!!! Our ribbons are beautiful & our customers are willing to spend money on good quality ribbon that they can use for years. Please make the wreath bows with the correct amount & size of loops as your sample. We will have bow samples & prices with each type of ribbon.

For most baskets (6” to 10” pot) charge $10 for a basket. We also have tins or ceramics.
Please avoid selling specifically from this chart above. It is available to you for very specific customers. Try to be as general as possible. (Ex. Poinsettia.... $45.00)

FRESH ARRANGEMENTS:
Christmas arrangements and centerpieces are available in all sizes. These will consist of mostly assorted Xmas greens, decorations, and a few fresh flowers, therefore they will last through New Years Day. Most of our Christmas arrangements will last 10-20 days or more. HANUKKAH AND KWANZAA
Hanukkah begins at sundown on Dec. 1st. The traditional colors are blue and white. Suggest a plant basket, blue and white centerpiece, or a kosher gourmet basket. We also have many Hanukkah designs in the Hanukkah category at Pflorist.com.
Kwanzaa begins Dec 26th. We will be delivering this day, although some florists in other parts of the country may be closed for their Christmas holiday. The traditional colors are red, black, and green. Tropical flowers native to Africa are the gift of choice.
