Yep, you read it right. That A in the middle is pronounced just once! It's what they call a portmanteau.

TriviAcademy, now in its eighth year, was established in 2012 by owner-operators Kevin and Jennifer Larrow. They broke into the trivia industry in 2010 working for a large, now publicly-traded trivia company. After two years they decided they'd like to put their own fun, friendly, and nostalgic spin on the games they hosted. After working together to come up with a name, theme, logo, and format, they hosted their first game under the TriviAcademy name on June 5th, 2012 at The Black Sheep in Niantic. Margaritas in Mystic also wanted to work with Kevin and Jennifer so they too became a flagship venue, or "campus" as they like to say.
