You don't need to be an expert to join. Our league brings together players of different skill levels for weekly competition, a chance to meet new people, and—most importantly—a chance to enjoy the game.

More Than Just a Night of Pool

League night gives you something that casual play doesn't always provide: regular competition against different players, different styles, and different skill levels.

Playing consistently is one of the best ways to improve your game. You'll learn strategy, improve your shot selection, become more comfortable under pressure, and gain experience playing within an organized league format.

Some players join because they love competing. Some want to become better players. Others simply want a regular night out playing pool with friends.

The Benefits of Being BCA Sanctioned

The Placerville Pool League is a BCA-sanctioned 8-ball league, which means your league experience doesn't necessarily have to end in Placerville.

Being part of the BCA Pool League system can provide eligible players with opportunities to compete in sanctioned events beyond their local league, including larger regional and national competition.

For players interested in taking their game further, that can include the opportunity to participate in major BCA Pool League events in Las Vegas, provided applicable eligibility and event requirements are met.

You can start out playing Wednesday nights with a local Placerville team and find yourself wanting to see just how far you can take your game.

And if tournaments or Vegas aren't your thing? That's completely fine. You can still enjoy everything that comes with being part of an organized local league.

Throughout the season, you'll play against teams from different local establishments, meet players you may never have played otherwise, develop some friendly rivalries, and become part of the Placerville-area pool community.

You don't necessarily need to already have a team to get started either.

Our league wouldn't be possible without the local establishments that provide tables and a place for us to compete every week.

Playing in the Placerville Pool League also means supporting the local bars and venues that support local pool.

When you play a league match, you're representing yourself, your teammates, your home establishment, and the Placerville Pool League.
