WELCOME TO THE PLACERVILLE POOL LEAGUE

The Placerville Pool League is a local BCA-sanctioned 8-ball league bringing together players, teams, and local establishments for great pool, friendly competition, and a fun night out each week.

Our 2026–2027 season features 14 teams competing throughout the Placerville area. Our players range from experienced competitors to people who simply enjoy the game and want to become better players.

You don't have to be an expert pool player to get involved. One of the things we want our league to be known for is giving new players an opportunity to meet other players, improve their game, experience organized league competition, and become part of the local pool community.

Whether you're already on a team or you're thinking about joining for the first time, you're welcome here.

Why Play in a BCA-Sanctioned League?

Being part of a BCA-sanctioned league gives our players opportunities that go beyond our regular local season.

Players can establish themselves within the BCA Pool League system and may have opportunities to participate in larger sanctioned events and tournaments, including major events in Las Vegas, subject to the eligibility and qualification requirements for those events.

For someone who starts out simply wanting to play some competitive pool locally, that can open the door to an entirely different level of the game.

You can start by playing league pool right here in Placerville, improve your game throughout the season, meet other competitive players, and potentially take your game to larger regional and national events.

And if Vegas isn't your goal, that's perfectly fine too. You don't have to be chasing tournaments to enjoy the benefits of organized league play. For many of our players, it's simply about having a regular night to play pool, spending time with friends, meeting new people, and enjoying some friendly competition.

New Players Are Welcome

Interested in playing league pool? We'd love to hear from you.

You don't need to already have a full team or know everyone in the league. If you're an individual player interested in joining, reach out to us. We can help connect interested players with teams that may be looking for players or alternates and help explain how league play works.

Joining a league is also one of the best ways to improve your game. Instead of playing the same people every week, you'll compete against players with different styles and experience levels throughout the season.

You'll learn strategy, improve your shot selection, experience competitive situations, and become more comfortable playing under organized rules—all while being part of a local community.

New players. Experienced players. Casual competitors. Tournament players. There's a place for all of them in the Placerville Pool League.
