Welcome

As far as I can remember, my life has never been without music. I am now 30 years old and have been involved with a vast number of ensembles, projects, performances and concerts - most likely there are too many to mention!

My primary passions are teaching and performing - I love to inspire others and live for what I have coined the 'penny moment' - the joy that a student finds in achieving that recently unobtainable challenge, or the little revelations that come from a sudden deeper understanding of music. I find both teaching and performing are a two-way conversation, whether that is between student and teacher or performer and audience, and across this website I am documenting my musical life in the hope of finding others who might like to join me along the way.
