I have a vast amount of experience in arranging and composing for a wide variety of instruments and ensembles:

• Arranger and bass guitarist in the function band 'Rough Sax' (2010-2014) - as a member of this eight-piece function band, I arranged and provided parts for a number of funk, soul and motown covers. Notable gigs included at the famous Bullingdon Arms, Cowley Road, Oxford, the Camara nightclub and Purple Turtle in Oxford city centre and a private function at the Marlow Boat Club. We also performed at a wedding in Stroud and a birthday party near Salisbury.
• Arranger and band leader for the 'Liason Group Musical Performance' (2005-2012) - an annual musical collaboration between local primary/junior and secondary schools performed at the Aylesbury Civic Centre (now the Waterside Theatre) which ran for 8 years. The resulting concerts of approximately 20 songs required a small concert band to accompany a choir of over 300 Year 2 and 6 children and an instrumental performance within that years theme. The role involved recruiting and rehearsing the musicians, ensuring they were provided with their copies of the scores in good time, liaising with the theatre technicians regarding our microphone requirements and conducting the band (usually from the electric guitar or drum kit) on the night.
• Arranger and band leader for the 2016 Floyd Variety Show - a two-night performance to raise fund for the Sixth Form Prom, my duties included arranging an evening's worth of musical theatre numbers for full band, recruiting the band and organising frequent rehearsals, and leading the band whilst playing drum kit on the second evening.
