Postdoctoral position: Tumour budding induced by cancer-associated fibroblasts
in collaboration with Danijela Vignevic - Institut Curie.
Funded by the INSERM program ITMO-Cancer PSCI
The candidate will develop theoretical model to understand how mechanical forces exerted by the environment shape cancerous tumour. More specifically, we will study how cancer-associated fibroblasts dies this process both in-vitro and in-vivo.
The candidate should be highly motivated, interested in solving biological problems using physical and computational tools and keen to work within an interdisciplinary collaboration.
The candidate should have a strong expertise in statistical physics and/or soft condensed matter. Prior knowledge in biophysics is a plus, but not absolutely required.

Postdoc positions at Institut Curie
Postdoc positions are available in my research team at Institut Curie.
The candidate should be highly motivated and interested in solving biological problems using physical and computational tools. He will be involved in projects aiming at a theoretical description of biological phenomena at the cellular level. One project is related to mechano-sensing and mechanical regulation at cellular membranes. Another project is related to the Physics of cellular organelles and intracellular trafficking.
Proficiency in Theoretical Physics is required and expertise in area such as Biophysics, Statistical Physics, or Soft Condensed Matter is desired. Both projects involve close collaboration with experimental groups of Physicists and Biologists. The candidate must show a strong desire to work at an interdisciplinary level.
