Testimonials for the Carburettor work

  • Just like to butt in with another vote for Bromyard VW, just had my Pierburg rebuilt and the van is reborn.

  • No more stalling, lumpy running or lack of power, despite UPS smashing it up on the way to him, and dry tapits frightening the life out of me when I first started it. Dave.

  • -I sent my carb off to VW Bromyard for repair/refurb which I got back just before the Easter break----supplied a very thorough 2 page reinstallation guide and initial start up procedure which I'm glad to say worked perfectly and the carb performed exactly as he said it should. Once the fuel had been pumped about the system it fired up with no issues. I am absolutely amazed at how different the engine performance is and how much easier the Syncro is to drive now the carb is performing as it should be

  • I thought that I would add my praise for Bromyard VW on here. I have been trying to get my "pup" to go for at least a year on and off. My last resort was write out a cheque and send off my Peirburg for reconditioning. Money well spent. Bolted on the carb, going through their instructions, and a lovely steady engine for the first time. So impressed was I that I booked an MOT, passed no probs. First time this motor has had one for 10 years. I bought it 2 years ago as a non-runner. So there is now another T25 back on the road.

  • Had my carburettor reconditioned by Bromyard last month and since then have had no issues with stalling. The van is also generally running a lot smoother, so I'm really hoping that this has got to the bottom of our troubles! With regard to Bromyard, they were quick with the reconditioning (the carburettor was with them for less than a week and very speedy at responding to emails (they've been criticised on here for being hard to get in contact with in the past), so overall I'm very impressed with their service.

  • Definitely go for the Bromyard rebuild - it's worth every penny! Our van was like a new vehicle as soon as the rebuilt carb had been fitted - instant starting, better fuel consumption, smoother acceleration, sailed through the emissions testing - and that was on a DG with 140,000 miles on the clock.

  • I have to put my weight behind bromyard who know these carbs inside out. I have a remanufactured one from them and it is like, or better, than new. In my experience, they will also give you a lot of information about reinstalling and running

  • ..... about four times what it would have cost to get the original carb put right. dells would have been a cheaper better idea . flog the Weber and call Bromyard is my advice Had my carb refurbed last week and they discovered that it had had water in it at some point so was very corroded, the garage's ...

  • You are a star, that is a work of art. Regards Alan... So happy 20.12.16

  • I just wanted to give you an update and say thank you for the work and advice.

  • I’ve fitted the carb and have a van that has never been so good under my ownership. Best regards, Peter 11.05.22
