Bach The Well-Tempered Clavier

Widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential works in the history of music, Johann Sebastian Bach's The Well-Tempered Clavier (Das Wohltemperirte Clavier), BWV 846–893, is a collection of solo keyboard pieces. It consists of two books, each of which contains twenty-four preludes and fugues in all twenty-four keys. Bach indicated that this work is intended for "musical youth desirous of learning".
