SRIM is a free software developed by Prof. James F. Ziegler. If anyone is interested to learn and play with the SRIM, download from here.
An installation guide is already available on the website, however, for the sake of quick start the installation points (steps) are described below,
1. Rename the file SRIM-2008.e to SRIM-2008.exe.
2. Run the SRIM-2008.exe
3. Before extract, better to locate target directory. Preferably in C dive. For e.g. c:/srim2008
4. Now one is ready to extract the files. Pulse extract.
5. In the target directory, search SETUP (application) and install SRIM software.
6. SRIM will install in Program files (x86) directory.
7. The software is ready to use.
8. When one run the software the first page looks like
