Robert Watson

In 2014 I was very fortunate that Robert Watson who attended Petersham Public School between 1949 and 1955 found this site and contacted me by email. Robert (Bob) was able to contribute two class photographs to add to the site and most importantly was able to remember the names of many students who I could not remember.

After finishing primary school Bob went to Fort Street Boys High School, then to the Sydney Teachers College, University and then made a career as a school teacher and reached the position of school principal. Bob retired in 2003 and still lives in Sydney.

Bob has been married for forty seven years, has three children and seven grand children.

Bob has also been able to recall the names of many of the school teachers who taught us and they are mentioned on another page.
