This is a short summary of my life after leaving Petersham Public School at the end of 1955.
I attended Dulwich Hill Technical School in 1956. In 1957 I moved to Queensland and completed a further two years of high school. After trying a couple of different jobs I was apprenticed as a refrigeration and air conditioning mechanic and worked in that industry until I joined the Queensland Police Force in 1972. After retiring I moved initially to Ballina, then Kiama and finally moved to Hobart as I liked the idea of living in a cool mild climate. I have been married twice and have five children who range in age from forty one years to eighteen.
I keep myself busy playing bridge, gardening, tennis, kayaking and completing jobs around the house that I built. I also spend countless hours in front of my computer and like learning things from internet research and Utube videos.
