Volunteering at PES

Due to COVID in person volunteering is on pause. We will do our best to update this page with other opportunities as they arise.

To help with any of these opportunities, send us a message at pespto@gmail.com Thank you!

On-Going Volunteer Opportunities

Library Volunteers: Volunteers are needed to help throughout the day to shelve books, help students to find books, and to help students check out books. Hours are flexible, but best if set on a weekly basis so the librarian has a schedule.

Art Volunteers: With all of the exciting projects going on at PES, our Art Teacher can often use extra hands. If you like projects, and want to come help - let us know!

PTO Event Coordinator: Our great community events happen because volunteers like you get involved and make them happen! These include fundraisers like the read-a-thon and pancake breakfast, as well as community events like the Movie Nights and NHDI.

Student Clubs: Student Clubs are run by parent and teacher volunteers - if you have a passion that you want to share - a club might be the best way. The PES-PTO also has legos, crafts, science items, snowshoes, chess, math games, and other materials from previous clubs. Contact our membership coordinator, Chris McCullough for more information.

Breakfast Duty: Each day a volunteer helps the Food Service folks with handing out breakfast. After breakfast, they wipe down the tables. Volunteers should get there between 8:15 and 8:20 and are finished by 9:00. They help to hand out breakfast and wipe tables. We need 5 on-going volunteers (one each day of the week), and substitutes willing to help when kids are sick or appointments conflict.
