Bridge Design Contest Registration

The Pensacola Branch of ASCE will be hosting the 2024 Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Contest on Saturday, May 18th for middle and high school students living in and around the Pensacola area. Individuals and teams of two may compete. The contest is to design a truss bridge that can support a truck at the lowest cost, using the Engineering Encounters Bridge Design Software. (Free Download.) The event will take place at 9:30 A.M. and lunch will be provided for contestants and parents.

Cash prizes go to 1st ($100), 2nd ($50), and 3rd ($25) in each category.
