Dr. Myisha Cherry

Myisha Cherry is an assistant professor of philosophy at the University of California, Riverside. Her research interest lies at the intersection of moral psychology and social and political philosophy. Cherry’s books include The Moral Psychology of Anger co-edited with Owen Flanagan (Rowman and Littlefield, 2018) and Unmuted: Conversations on Prejudice, Oppression, and Social Justice (Oxford University Press, 2019).

Dr. Amira Rose Davis

Amira Rose Davis is an Assistant Professor of History and African American Studies at Penn State University where she specializes in 20th Century American History with an emphasis on race, gender, sports and politics. She is the author of the forthcoming book, “Can’t Eat a Medal”: The Lives and Labors of Black Women Athletes in the Age of Jim Crow. Her work has appeared in scholarly journals such as Radical History Review as well as popular outlets such as The New Republic and Washington Post Additionally, Davis provides sports commentary for public venues such as NPR, ESPN, and BBC. She is also the co-host of the sports podcast, Burn it All Down.
