Postdoctoral Scientist - Computational BioMedicine

This position is well supported by an NIH grant and institutional funds. The Postdoctoral Scientist will work in an interdisciplinary environment together with clinicians and scientists in bioinformatics, human genetics, and cancer biology. Our goal is to transform genomic discovery into translational research, ultimately realizing the promise of precision medicine. We develop machine learning and statistical methods that combine GWAS, genomics, epigenomics, transcriptomics, and proteomics data (“multi-omics”), to understand cancer initiation and development. We have strong interests in cancer driver mutation identification, probabilistic modeling of gene regulation, and patient-centered risk and treatment response prediction. For more information, please see our publications.

Research Associate Data Scientist - Computational Biomedicine

This position is well supported by an NIH grant and institutional funds. The Research Associate Data Scientist will participate in biomedical research projects, with clinicians, researchers, and bioinformaticians. Responsibilities include querying databases, data processing, supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deploying production models, and communication of scientific findings via peer-reviewed publications and scientific conferences.
