About the Artist - Peggy Irvin
I started my art career when I was 3 years old and have been drawing and painting ever since. I studied graphic design and advertising rather than fine art because it sounded like it might be steadier work but I continue to draw and paint. Now I do both fine art and graphic design for a living (or just for fun - it depends on your perspective).
The works in my portfolio are originals - that is what you are paying for. I do not make prints (but don't hesitate to ask ...). All artwork is framed but is available unframed at a reduced price if you prefer. If you don't see exactly what you're looking for or you fall in love with something that's sold, I will be happy to work with you to create a piece that is uniquely yours - that suits you and your space.
Purchasing a painting is a very personal choice. I want it to be an enjoyable and stress-free decision for you. If you are within a few hours drive of my studio in the San Diego, California area, I would be happy to bring the painting to your home and see if it works in your space. If you aren't close enough for an in-home visit, I will ship it to you. If it's not what you expected, return it to me within 30 days, in good shape, and I will refund your money, trade for another painting, or create a custom painting for you.
I want you to be happy!!!
