1st of June 1916, being employed previously in March Street Mills.

Honour, honour, honour shall for ever
Rest upon the fallen.
All their sleeping
Shall be hushed with murmured praises.
Music from the heart escaping,
Softly sighing,
Lo! the dead are as the living, sleeping
Folded to the nations breast.
In the hearts of parents, sons, and daughters,
In the hearts where eyes alone have spoken,
Are the temples of remembrance.
Altars know the burning anguish,
Surging tears
Drink up the fire that love set flaming,
But the fallen,
But the sleeping,
Have no dreams of weeping.
O! ye thousand bosoms of remembrance!
O! ye hallowed altars wet with weeping!
Honour, honour, honour shall for ever
Rest upon the fallen, happy fallen,
In God's keeping.
