Developed by the Association for Library Service to Children (a division of the American Library Association), this site provides several websites for children in grades K-8. The sites include games, videos, stories and resources for children to learn about and engage in peace and conflict resolution activities.

Lessons in Tolerance

The Tolerance Project is a web resource created by the City College of San Francisco. The site includes lessons and materials for teachers, student and teacher forums, and additional resources for teaching tolerance. I recommend using the links on the side-bar from the homepage and your "back button" to navigate the site. (Once you leave the homepage, some of the navigational hyperlinks are outdated).

Teaching and Learning for Peace

Teaching Tolerance: A Project of the Southern Poverty Law Center

Teaching Tolerance was founded in 1991 by the Southern Poverty Law Center. This group is dedicated to improving intergroup relations, reducing prejudice, and supporting equitable school experiences for all children. Their self-titled magazine is sent twice annually, and they provide free educational materials to teachers and school practitioners across the United States and abroad.

Tolerance, Anti-Bias and Diversity Education

This link provides a listing of online resources that encourage tolerance, celebrate diversity and eliminate bias in the classrooms and communities.
