Welcome to my website.
I am currently a Senior Research Economist in the Research Department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. My fields of interest include macroeconomics, labor economics, applied microeconomics, and international trade. I have studied job displacement, wage stickiness, advance layoff notices, and trade with frictions.
Prior to joining the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland in 2015, I completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Population Studies Center at the University of Michigan. I graduated from the University of Michigan with a PhD in Economics in 2013. I received my Bachelor of Arts in Economics, as well as my Bachelor of Science in Mathematical & Computational Science, from Stanford University in 2007.
I maintain data from advance layoff notices filed under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification (WARN) Act. Check these data out for free on openICPSR: WARN Act Data.
