I am a Professor of Psychiatry in charge of the Center of Expertise in Bipolar Disorders at the Academic Department of Psychiatry in Versailles Hospital. I'm also head of the 78G18 adult psychiatry department at the Centre Hospitalier de Plaisir.
I teach psychiatry to health students at Versailles Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines University. I am a researcher in the team DisAP (cognitive Disability and functional impairments in Acquired brain injuries and Psychiatric disorders) at the CESP-Moods (Centre for Epidemiology and Population Health - Development Psychiatry & Trajectories), affiliated with INSERM, Paris-Saclay University, and Versailles-Saint-Quentin-En-Yvelines University.
I was trained in cognitive neurosciences through a Ph.D. under the supervision of Pr Franck Ramus at the LSCP in the Ecole Normale Supérieure.
My research aims to better understand cognitive deficits in severe and persistent mental disorders, particularly schizophrenia and bipolar disorders.
My two main lines of research are:
1°) cognitive neurosciences with the exploration of deficits in social cognition and metacognition in schizophrenia.
2°) clinical epidemiology with the exploration of neuropsychological performances measured with extensive cognitive batteries in cohorts of patients with schizophrenia and bipolar disorders. The objective is to better characterize psychiatric disability in severe and persistent mental disorders to prevent it and help rehabilitation.
