Howard Rosekrans Sr.

Howard Rosekrans Sr. was in WWII in the US Army and served in France and England.

He worked for the Watervliet arsenal for 30 years or so.

He was also a TV repairman and had his own business.

He was an avid gold player.

 

Mary Patrosh (wife of Howard Sr.) died of ovarian cancer in March 21,1959.

 

 

In 1997 there was a house fire (cause unknown) at Howard Sr.'s house during the night.

He died from smoke inhalation and burns on July 27, 1997.

The Rosekrans were Protestant/Presbyterian and originaly were Dutch.

The parents of Howard Wesley Rosekrans Sr. were Lorenzo Josiah Rosekrans (Sep 10, 1876 in NY. Death date unknown) and Emma Harisson (1877-1950 in NY). Lorenzo's parents both were born and died in NY, Josiah Rosekrans was born in about 1841, death date unknown, and Josephine was born in about 1851, death date unknown. Lorenzo had a sister named Gertrude J Rosekrans who married a man names Wesley Foose
