2004 Yamaha jetski

We've owned this 2004 Waverunner since about 2010 and it's been reliable and fun. In 2017, I decided to learn how to paint and thought i'd learn on the jetski. Did a little body work, stripped the faded paint, primed and painted it. Added new padding and stickers.

In the summer of 2018, our nephew took it out and got stranded. Turns out all 4 motor mounts broke and the motor had been slowly shifting and it finally decoupled itself from the coupler/bearing shaft.

I decided to remove the motor to do this job. This way i can clean out the hull, replace the motor mounts, all hoses/clamps as well as the starter.

Here's a close-up of the how far the motor had shifted - no wonder the jetski wasn't going anywhere. That hull had 14 years of gunk in it. After a few hours of cleaning and degreasing it looks much better. Bought new motor mounts and bearing housing. Reinstalled the coupler shaft to the new bearing housing.
