Camping Gear: You will need to provide your own camping gear, including all necessary water. Consider bringing a shade/rain/wind-proof structure for additional comfort. Expect temperatures of low 70s during the day and low 40s at night, with a potential of strong winds. There will be portable toilets and a couple of sun/wind shelters for communal use. Bring any comforts and supplies you would normally bring on a multi-day camping trip and check out our suggested packing list. Also, keep in mind that the winds can be quite strong, so make sure to secure your camp and all your possessions.
What to Bring: Firewood, musical instruments, art supplies, games and toys, rituals and sacred objects, and any other items for your recreation, relaxation and restoration.
Food: We envision some potluck-style meals, and self-managed meals the rest of the time. There is no expectation that you have to bring enough for everyone - just enough for yourselves and some to share. Participants are responsible for their own food and/or contributions to the shared table by bringing raw food supplies, prepared dishes or cooking meals on site. You are encouraged to not bring chametz with you, but instead join others in baking your own matzos! Please feel to free to observe any holiday or health-based dietary restrictions for yourself and abstain from judging what others eat. - everyone is expected to be responsible for own food.
